Three highly-respected jazz musicians from across the UK come together for this special collaboration with Durham University Jazz Society. Expect a programme of hard-swinging jazz, ballads, and bossa-nova, drawing on the American Songbook tradition. Later in the evening, trio will become quartet, with the addition of Durham University Finalist Freddie Krone on drums!
Jamie Taylor has built a strong reputation throughout the UK and overseas, as a dynamic jazz guitarist and teacher. His playing has been heard at a long list of clubs and festivals and, in the latter field, he has been Lecturer in Jazz Guitar at Leeds Conservatoire for over 20 years.

Meanwhile, his collaboration with fellow guitarist Sam Dunn has been a recurrent feature of Ronnie Scott's 'Two For The Road' duo series.
Jamie has also been privileged to work on a more occasional basis with many excellent jazz musicians from both sides of the Atlantic, among them Baptiste Herbin, Wayne Escoffery, John Goldsby, Sheryl Bailey, John Stowell, Kate Williams, Tori Freestone, Roni Ben-Hur, Bart DeFoort, and Steve Fishwick.
